ABOUT

Carlos joined Ibarra Carrillo Soto in 2019. He was admitted as a partner in 2024. His accounting career has focused in international and domestic tax compliance with a focus in high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and cross-border businesses offering over 10 years of experience.

Carlos attained a Bachelor of Science in Applied Arts and Sciences in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting from San Diego State University and was admitted to the California Board of Accountants as a CPA since 2021.

He realized he wanted to be a CPA when he was a banker where he was involved in his community

advising clients, friends, and anyone who needed help to navigate the complexities of tax and banking products. He likes to have his clients reassured that they are in good hands and will make great strides to explain the complicated world of taxes in plain English.
